What does a restaurant POS cost in Palestine?

A straight breakdown of what restaurant point-of-sale systems cost in Palestine — subscription, hardware, commission, and the costs that never appear in the quote.

The short answer: expect ₪300 to ₪900 per month per location for a restaurant point-of-sale system in Palestine, plus a one-off ₪1,500 to ₪6,000 for hardware depending on what you actually need. The real difference between quotes is not the monthly figure — it is whether there is a commission on your sales, an activation fee, and a contract that stops you leaving.

The four parts of any quote

Every quote you receive, however it is presented, breaks into four line items. Ask for them separately before signing, because most unpleasant surprises come from a line that was never mentioned.

Monthly subscription

Typical range₪300 – ₪900 per location
What to askIs the price fixed? For how many years?

Hardware

Typical range₪1,500 – ₪6,000 one-off
What to askCan I use equipment I already own?

Activation and setup

Typical rangeZero to ₪3,000
What to askIs it charged if setup runs late?

Commission on sales

Typical rangeZero to 2%
What to askIs it on revenue or on profit?

The costs that never appear in the quote

  • Setup time: a week of manually entering your menu is a week of your manager's time, and it has a price.
  • Team training: a system that needs three days of training will be used wrongly in its first month, and that shows up in your stock count.
  • Getting your data out: ask explicitly. Some systems make leaving expensive by making data hard to export.
  • Arabic support: if support is English-only, every problem takes twice as long to resolve.

How to compare two quotes fairly

Work out the full three-year cost, not the first month. Multiply the subscription by 36, add hardware and activation, then add the expected commission on your actual turnover. The number that comes out is what you will really pay.

  1. 01Ask for the price per location and per additional location — the gap reveals how the vendor thinks about your growth.
  2. 02Ask whether the price is held, and if not, how much it has risen in the past two years.
  3. 03Get the exit terms in writing, not verbally.
  4. 04Ask to speak to a restaurant actually using it — one your size, not a larger flagship.

Where Noqta sits

Noqta is ₪600 per month for your first location and ₪300 for each additional one, or ₪6,000 a year, equivalent to two months free. No activation fee, no commission on your sales, and no minimum term — and the price is held for three years from the day you subscribe.

We state it here because this is an article about cost, and it would be incomplete without our own number. Compare it the way described above: multiply by 36, add zero for commission, and weigh it up.
