1 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device so it can remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you are signed in, or which language you prefer. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, serve the same purpose; in this policy, "cookies" includes them. This policy covers this website — the Noqta marketing site at noqtaplatform.com — provided by AtharCo, registered in Ramallah, Palestine, and the list in section 2 is a complete account of what this website stores.
Noqta stores only what this website needs to function and to remember your choices. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, we use no third-party analytics on this site, and we never sell data collected through cookies. Our web pages load fonts from Google Fonts; serving those font files means Google receives your IP address as a technical necessity. Google sets no cookies through this, and we build no profile from it.
2 What we use
This website stores the following, grouped by function:
Essential — sign-in & session
Clerk, our authentication provider, sets cookies when you sign in and on the signed-in surfaces of the Service. These cookies hold your session, keep you signed in as you move between pages, and protect your account against fraudulent sign-in attempts. The Service cannot function without them, so they do not require consent. Our infrastructure providers — Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database) — may also set technical cookies strictly for security and routing; these are functional, never advertising-related. Where a cookie banner is shown, we also store your consent choice so we do not ask you again.
Preferences
We keep two preferences in your browser's local storage: your language, Arabic or English (stored as "noqta:lang"), and your display theme (stored as "noqta:theme"). These record only what you have selected, remain on your device, and are not used to identify or track you.
Beyond this website, the signed-in product surfaces — the operator dashboard and in-venue ordering pages — store additional strictly necessary items: authentication session cookies and functional preferences such as the dashboard language or an in-progress order reference. These are described in the Privacy Policy; none of them are advertising or analytics trackers.
3 Managing cookies
You remain in control. Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block them:
- Open your browser's privacy or site settings to view and clear stored cookies and local storage.
- Block or limit cookies for specific sites, or for all sites, from the same menu.
- Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and stop the signed-in parts of the Service from working.
Where the cookie banner is shown, you can record your choice there. To change a recorded choice, clear this site's cookies in your browser and reload the page.
4 Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves or as the providers we rely on change. If we make a material change — for example, introducing any category of cookie not described here — we will update this page and the effective date above, and where the law requires consent we will ask for it before the new cookies are set. Continued use of the Service after an updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
